The examination involves evaluation of the vision remaining, how efficient the person is using the remaining vision, and assessment of prescriptive optical devices. Low vision rehabilitative services are available for patients with macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, optic nerve disease, stroke, and other forms of visual impairment for all ages.
